Feliz is confusing me. I found a record that shows he died in Dannemora, New York which is near the Canadian and Vermont borders. That is a couple hundred miles from Buffalo, NY.
I found a Feliz Kopacz in Buffalo born in 1900. The 1905 US Census shows he was the youngest of four sons with one younger sister and his parents were Thomas and Marie Kopacz. 1910 and the family was still intact. 1915 shows the same family still living on the east side of Buffalo, NY.
City directories show in 1922 he rented with a Thomas and Wanda Kopacz 1428 Broadway. Oddly, in 1922 there was a Kopacz living at 7 Dover. This is 3 blocks away from 18 Newton St. where I grew up, and where the best man from my wedding grew up. He spoke to his mother and that is her maternal grandparents surname.
No family relations but an interesting fact found.
